Terms of Service
These Terms are structured with linkable sections for clarity. If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remains effective.
Agreement
By accessing or using Mildgate Cooking (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”) and to comply with applicable laws in your region. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and Mildgate Cooking. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
Eligibility
You must be able to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the Service only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
- Do not use the Service if you are prohibited from receiving services under applicable laws.
- Some content may be intended for informational and educational purposes only.
Accounts & Security
If the Service allows account access, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
- Provide accurate information and keep it updated.
- Notify us promptly of any suspected unauthorized use.
- We may suspend or terminate access to protect you, other users, or the Service.
License
Courses, lessons, text, recipes, videos, and other content provided through the Service are licensed, not sold. Unless explicitly stated otherwise, you receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license for personal, non-commercial use.
Restrictions
- You may not copy, distribute, publicly perform, or publicly display paid or gated materials.
- You may not resell, rent, lease, sublicense, or otherwise commercially exploit materials from the Service.
- You may not remove proprietary notices or attempt to bypass access controls.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the Service or help anyone else do so. Misuse includes attempting to interfere with normal operations, security, or availability.
Examples of prohibited activity
- Uploading or sharing content that is illegal, infringing, or violates privacy rights.
- Reverse-engineering, scraping at scale, or attempting to access non-public areas without authorization.
- Introducing malware, automated abuse, or disruptive traffic patterns.
- Impersonation, deceptive practices, or harassment.
Billing
If you purchase a subscription or other paid offering, you authorize us (or our payment processor) to charge the applicable fees using your selected payment method. All prices are shown in USD and may be displayed in your local currency for convenience. Taxes may apply based on your country, state, or region.
Renewals
Subscriptions may renew automatically unless canceled before the renewal date. You can cancel renewal according to the instructions available in the Service or by contacting us.
Price changes
We may change prices for future billing periods. If required, we will provide notice in advance. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated pricing for future periods.
Cancellations & Refunds
You can stop using the Service at any time. Cancellation stops future renewals but does not automatically refund charges already paid, unless required by law or expressly stated for a specific product.
- Refund eligibility may depend on the type of purchase and your region.
- If a refund is approved, it will be issued back to the original payment method where possible.
- We may request additional information to verify the purchase and prevent fraud.
Disclaimers
The Service and all content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We disclaim all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Food safety and results
Cooking outcomes vary based on ingredients, tools, environment, and personal skill. You are responsible for safe food handling, proper cooking temperatures, allergy awareness, and compliance with local regulations.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenues, data, or goodwill arising out of or related to your use of the Service.
Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid to use the Service during the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim (or USD $100 if you have not paid anything), unless required otherwise by law.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Mildgate Cooking and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from or related to your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice as required by law, such as by posting the updated Terms on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
